If you are looking at visiting Horseshoe Bend between now and April, if you are not with a tour bus, depending on the time you show up, you will be directed to the shuttle parking lot located on Highway 98.
Starting at 10 am Wednesday, February 13, the parking lot at Horseshoe Bend will be closed until April 15 to all vehicles except tour buses. This is to help construction crews finish the much anticipated and needed parking lot and toll booths.
During the lot's closure, visitors to the area will have to park at the lot located on Highway 98, which is 2.5 miles northeast of Horseshoe Bend, and take a shuttle to the trailhead.
The shuttle service is being provided by CH Destination Services, a company headquartered out of Las Vegas. The execution of the license agreement for this service was approved by the City Council during their January 23, 2019 meeting.
